Or maybe I'm reading it wrong, and he just got freaked out by the sheer weight of the mainstream press's coverage of the series.

I did get the sneaking feeling that the lingering shot of McGann's image in John Smith's diary in HUMAN NATURE was some sort of foreshadowing by Davies and his team, though. He's done plenty of WHO work for BBC radio since, and is currently in a big TV drama on BBC1, TRUE DARE KISS. I could easily imagine seeing him being slipped in by the cover of darkness into an epic capper for RTD's last series. It was McGann's Doctor that fought in the often alluded to Time Wars, after all.Markhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17791352096505994671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8210377.post-88963278883588421542007-08-06T23:51:00.000+01:002007-08-06T23:51:00.000+01:00nessie'd make a good doctor. trouble with getting ...nessie'd make a good doctor. trouble with getting a "big name" is that they never stay - look at mcgann and ecclestongeoffnoreply@blogger.com
