I recently got a fit of the giggles when someone from my usual comic shop pointed out that I had pre-ordered Marvel's PRELUDE TO DEADPOOL CORPS #3&#5 - had I forgotten to order issues 1,2&4? Jesus, I've been buying comics from them for years now - do they still have no clue what makes me tick?

Ah, it's hard to beat Jason Garrattley's dedication to the notion of Kirby As A Genre. For starters, there's the great blog he curates on the subject, Kirby Vision, and there's all those groovy montages he knocks up (best seen at his Flickr page).  Here's his latest, which he did for yer man Tim Miner at the Marvel Smartass blog. Bloomin' glorious.

It's no The Brave & The Bold, but it looks better than most previous Marvel animations.
