I really liked his two Hellblazer issues with Milligan. I know what you mean but it was a pleasure to see that, weird looking and shot from pencils as was.
Yeah, the Beserker book was pretty good, and it was that which made me think hes now got a newfound discipline in his work, and storytelling chops. Give him an 8, 10 or 12-issue series with an in-form major writer, collect it in a big ol book, something that he could put on a shelf with SLAINE THE HORNED GOD and say, yeah, Ive still got it.
not that were mates, or anything, but he turns up for signings in Bedford quite a bit, and the last time I saw him - which was quite a while ago - he was talking about how he was trying to secure some regular work with DC, and how, if he got it, he was going to have to "start behaving" himself.
Im glad hes got his act together. bless im.
and I make you right there, Mark. a brand new regular sorted-out-Biz series would be most welcomed in the House of Joe.
I also realise that being lectured on what you should and shouldnt do with your career by bloggers is terribly rude; and probably an awful example of fannish entitlement. You go, Biz! We only bleat on like this cuz we love ya!
Got any news, views, wacky links, praise, criticism, etc? Feel free to e-mail me. Unless you're some mentalist just writing out of the blue to insult me. That I can do without.

He needs a good long run on something well-written to really resurrect his career.
Lets see how the stuff hes doing with the Berserker ones turns out. The stuff Ive seen so far has been stunning.
I loved Centurion. Nasty violence all round.
