...and it's better for your teeth than the usual crap. Our old mate Akira The Don has sent along this, the finest slice of anti-zombie tuneage you'll hear all night.

Look at this photo and tell me Nick Frost shouldn't be playing Volstagg in Ken Branagh's THOR movie.
I know for a fact that Ken Branagh reads this blog, being a stout son of Ulster and all that. So Ken - I've previously thought that a lot of your casting on THOR was skewing a tad young, but sod it - if you are going young on this 'un, here's your Volstagg. He's got the build, the right colouring, he's a damned fine comic actor, and he's geek royalty.

A status report on Brendan McCarthy's FEVER.
I've seen a hefty chunk of art from this, sans dialogue, and it's truly gorgeous looking. It'll convert quite a few to the church, I'm sure.

Been Caught Soliciting: Marvel, January 2010
More of Adi Granov's sexy, oddly synthetic, women. Looks like he used the same model for the Black Widow and Rogue, too.

A cha-change is as good as a Charest.
Just having a poke 'round Travis Charest's blog, came across these images: a Judge Cassie Anderson, and some cigar chomping space-female or another who reminded me of Tank Girl, and rules are rules (the more I think about it, there's a touch of Halo Jones about it, too).

Been Caught Soliciting: DARK HORSE, January 2010
January's Mignola covers: just the two, but that one for the trade of THE WILD HUNT is rather majestic.
Find the lot over at CBR.

Increase the peace.
2000AD ABC Warriors from Firestep Films on Vimeo.
The only problems with this are: I don't want it to stop; I want to see more Joey Pineapples; and I kinda want Clint Eastwood by the Gorillaz to start when Mongrol makes that big jump out towards the foreground. "I ain't happy, I'm feeling glad. I got sunshine, in a bag. I'm useless, but not for long. The future is coming on ...".

Hey, we'll convert Paul Holden to the work of Paul Pope if it's the last thing we do. Look at the perfectly controlled Moebiusness of this page. AND TREMBLE!
