Probably just showing my age, or maybe because I gave up reading 2000AD in the early 90s and didn't start looking at it again until around 2001. Though I'd love for Vince to do more work (other than the very occasional cover) for the 2000AD family sometime.Mark Kardwellhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17791352096505994671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8210377.post-29167991492328177542010-10-19T12:24:33.255+01:002010-10-19T12:24:33.255+01:00Some cool imagery on Indio's site, and I have ...Some cool imagery on Indio's site, and I have to agree with you that his would be just the kind of fruitcake style that would benefit 2000ad's need to be seen as a risk-taking enterprise rather than the mostly-reliable milkman of comics delivery it's become since stabilizing in the late 90s.

But I will take issue with 2000ad's supposed ignorance of bold stylists of late, as it's given us Simon Frasier, D'Israeli, Frazier Irvine, Frank Quitely - though admittedly slowly over time so you might not notice, but even in its heyday it still gave us the greats like McMahon, Gibson, and O'Neill either at a slow pace over decades or by inheriting them from the extant UK and European comics industry.Brigonoshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05284882511370405132noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8210377.post-80639715718946726142010-10-19T06:59:57.626+01:002010-10-19T06:59:57.626+01:00"Jarvis, you terrible c**t!""Jarvis, you terrible c**t!"cerebus660http://www.blogger.com/profile/07719757386457800087noreply@blogger.com
