I know Dave Johnson can get a little anxious when I haven't featured one of his covers here in a while.

For sheer strength of design on this 'un, I declare Marcos Martin the winner.

I'm a sucker for Thor, as regular reader's know. BD-ist Stephane Perger evokes the Kirby/Simonson eras with some top-notch giganticism. This is what those Marvel movies need. Proper big shit. Galactus. Sentinels. Fin Fang Foom.

This is far from Leinil Yu's best work, but, hey, it's Frog-Man! And it looks like Jessica Jones is about to suffer a pop-out.

Sean Phillips evoking the golden age of sleazy paperbacks nicely.

And I'd hate to be the sort of glib fucker who'd say "Yay! Matt Fraction's one good comic is back!"
