Mike Allred's cover for his new (Chris Roberson-written) Vertigo series I, ZOMBIE is pretty damned good. But then Darwyn Cooke slips ahead of him with his variant cover and sticks it in the back of the net.

Darwyn's is lovely - as always - but the Debbie Harry-ness of the first one slightly edges it for me, actually. I prefer the design approach of the first one an' all.
