A cha-change is as good as a Charest.

Just having a poke 'round Travis Charest's blog, came across these images: a Judge Cassie Anderson, and some cigar chomping space-female or another who reminded me of Tank Girl, and rules are rules (the more I think about it, there's a touch of Halo Jones about it, too).

Thats Christie Blaze from Jim Lees Divine Right. That pic is from a series of interlocking covers Charest did for Lees Wildstorm titles.

Really nice guy, too. Met him at San Diego and he was incredibly modest and had a nice line in self-deprecating humour.

He even gave me a free copy of his sketchbook. And extremely gorgeous it is too.

That notwithstanding, he may just be my current favourite american artist. Hes got a bit of Moebius and Drew Struzan in his artistic DNA. Pretty good combination.
