World's most serious actor to play comedian.

Weeeird casting. Bill Hicks is something of a deity in these parts.

Ican see that. Crowe's a good actor- maybe he'll finally learn to play comedy, like Dustin Hoffman did when he played Lenny Bruce. (Seriously, Hoffman was alaays amazing, but it was after Lenny that he became funny.m or maybe I'm talking out of my arse. I'm not sure. I've only just got out of bed.)

That might be simplifying things horribly, though: THE GRADUATE, LITTLE BIG MAN and MIDNIGHT COWBOY all showed Hoffman had plenty of humour, before he played Bruce. The only evidence I can think of Crowe having a sense of humour at all are his appearances on Jonathan Ross's chat show.

Hmmm... yeah. I think maybe I was talking out of my arse. Clutching at straws, really because if they're going to make a Bill Hicks movie... well, let's just say it'll spoil my day if it's no good.

But then, fuck it, we'll always have the videos, CDs etc...
