Is it just me, or does Joss Whedon's new TV series sound a bit like my old childhood favourite JOE 90? Only, well, smarter, for a start. And sexier, obviously.

That's the first thing I thought of as well...but UK readers should bear in mind that it's probably a coincidence: I don't think the series ever aired in the US. I only know of it at all because I'm such a Gerry Anderson fanboy, but I've only ever seen one episode and that was more than a decade later.
(BTW, if it turns out Joe 90 actually did air in the States on some channel I couldn't get at the time, there will be repercussions.)
I don't know about "sexier"...Dushku's pretty hot, but Supermarionation has it's own subtle and unique rewards.
Maybe Joss has a thing for puppets--remember when Angel was turned into a muppet?
Trevor, I've never seen a puppet sexier than Eliza Duskhu. And yes, that includes the cast of TEAM AMERICA.
