Yesterday, I posted a great cover from DC's new solicitations. Today, in the interests of fairness in the bitterly partisan politics that is superhero comics publishing, here's an absolutely kick-ass image from Marvel, by Cameron Stewart. It's a well known fact: if there's two things comic bloggers love, it's M.O.D.O.K and Cameron Stewart.

This might just be the greatest thing ever.
Yep. It is.
I see Stewart;s "MODOK"ised Captain AMerica, with the crows feet and thick lips, and think, hey, that looks like David Finch's Cap from NEW AVENGERS anyway.
I can see what you mean, Anon Dude, but I liked Finch's work on the title. My problems with it were all about the poor pacing and Bendis taking certain tropes of his just a little too far.
In fact, those "Disassembled" covers were glorious. Make me long for the other dimension in which Finch is drawing a straight-up AVENGERS series, with The Vision, Yellowjacket, Hawkeye, et al.
